As a certified graduate of the School of Natural Cookery, which is recognized as having one of the finest culinary arts programs specializing in whole foods, Chef Omid Roustaei is excited to bring you the best in ingredients and food preparation.

Upon leaving his field in cancer research in 1998, Omid chose to follow his heart and his passion for cooking and make a career of it. Omid's journey in culinary arts, his new found philosophy and style of cooking and his unique approach toward food has brought him local and national attention by being featured in several local publications, as well as articles in GQ magazine, Simple Living and Passionkey newsletters.  Omid has been a featured guest chef at Vegetarians of Washington meetings and has been an active participant as a food educator with Cancer Care Alliance Center and also in local festivals such as Folk life and Vegfest.

In addition to being a personal chef, Omid is currently a faculty member at the School of Natural Cookery -- teaching the natural baking , vegetable protein and soup courses as well as the personal chef training curriculum . Omid is also teaching a number of recreational cooking classes at PCC Natural Markets and other establishments around the greater Seattle area.

Omid's philosophy on cooking is that the intention and energy brought into preparing food is just as much a part of our physical and mental nourishment as using fresh, wholesome, and nutritional ingredients.

It would give Omid great pleasure to bring his passion and love of cooking to you and yours. Call Omid today to learn more.
